Lateral have been working closely with Carrillo improving our premium race rods. These rods have been more than proven in the most powerful Subaru engines in the country, and are rated to over 1000bhp.

It's not uncommon for high power Subaru engines to suffer from premature small end wear, due to poor oiling. So we have designed the rods with the small end oiling holes positioned on the side of the rods, instead of at the top, so that they are more exposed to oil splash, and machined a groove around the small end bush, so that the oil can circulate freely.

They of course have the "oil spreader slot", to aid cylinder lubrication, and piston cooling.

They come with Carillo's own high quality rod bolts.
